How to use the Walleto WordPress theme?
As previously mentioned, Walleto offers a plug and play solution to help you build an online marketplace. As soon as you install the theme, the market is ready to be used. However, that doesn't mean you can skip the setup part.
As such, here is a quick look at the different features and functionalities that are introduced after installing the theme.
We will divide this into two sections - the Walleto options available in the WordPress control panel, and the front-end options panel for sellers who operate a store in their marketplace.
Walleto: Administration Dashboard
With the theme installed, you will find three new options in the sidebar of your WordPress control panel.
#1. Walleto
This is where you will find all the admin level controls for the Walleto theme and the marketplace. As you can see in the image above, you will have access to a whole list of laundry options. Here is a complete overview of these different options and their use.
- Summary of site- Gives you a quick overview of the total number of products and users on your website.
- General Options- This is where the operation of the site is configured.
- Setting Email: allows you to configure automatic emails and other email sending options.
- Configuration prices: you can set the currency that your store will use for all its transactions.
- Options image: options to configure the maximum number of images and their quality.
- Catwalks from payment: options to activate / deactivate payment gateways.
- Retreats: options to manage withdrawals of money from providers.
- Balance of Username: option to add / remove credits from user accounts.
- Reviews of users- Access all user reviews for different products.
- Priv messagesados: access all private messages from a convenient interface.
- Transactions InSite- Access a log of all internal transactions.

#2. Products
If you want to add new products to your market, you can use this custom post type.
As shown in the picture above, please go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Productos. Here you can see all the products currently available in your market. You can edit each product in the same way that you edit posts and pages.
Now, to add a new product, press the Add New Product button at the top of the screen.
As you can see in the image above, the interface is identical to that of adding a new post or page. You will have access to the text editor to write the description of the product.
Once this is done, you can look to the right and you will find options to enter the price, quantity and shipping costs of the product. At the same time there are options to enable / disable if you want the product to be shown, stopped or hidden.
Scroll down for options to enter a product excerpt, add product images, and a featured image. Identical to posts and pages, you can even add tags and categories to your content.
Another useful option is the possibility of adding variations of the same product. This enables you to sell the same product with different parameters such as color, shape, and size. The store owner can determine different prices for different product variations.
#3. Stores
As in the case of products, the theme at the same time includes a custom message type to create new stores for your market.
You can access the section from your WordPress Dashboard -> Stores. In the same way as before, the interface is identical to the Messages and Pages section. You will be able to see all the stores that are currently on their website, including their condition from membership active.
If you have the intention of creating a new store at your disposal, you will have to press the button Add new store at the top.
At the same time here the interface is identical to creating a new post or page. However, you do have access to some additional options. As an example, there is a dedicated section where you can add store information details as well as provide a portfolio image.
Identical to pages, you can add categories for your stores with the added option of specifying shipping locations.
