En marzo publiqué una publicación aquí en R Digital marketing que presentaba mis siete complementos gratuitos favoritos de WordPress. No era una lista de complementos de todos los días; Hice un esfuerzo por mencionar complementos menos conocidos en lugar de seguir la ruta frecuente de nombrar los Akismets y W3 Total Caches de este mundo.
La publicación resultó ser bastante exitosa (luego de todo, ¿qué Username de WordPress se respeta a sí mismo? do not Do you intend to see cool add-ons?) So I thought I could make a sequel. And how The Godfather II and other sequels of its kind, it is proposed to improve the original.
Below I've listed seven other great free WordPress plugins, all of which I use (or have used) on my own blogs. Not all of them are superstar plugins, some of them have only been downloaded a handful of times, but that's certainly what makes them more interesting than the same old plugins you've read over and over again. Enjoy!

TablePress
This plugin has been downloaded over 80,000 times and received 396 ratings at the time of writing. Of those ratings, all but eight are five stars and the other four. It is hardly necessary to say anything more. But I'll do it.
TablePress has no pairs; is the best remote tables plugin for WordPress. I've used it extensively in Leaving Work Behind (see my income reporting page) and most prominently in P90X Journal (see my exercise logs):

It is impeccably coded and well backed by one of the best plugin developers out there.
Another partner post plugin
Mostrar publicaciones asociadas en la parte inferior de las publicaciones de su Blog es una manera fácil de aumentar la participación en su blog. Pero mucha gente se equivoca: categorizan y etiquetan mal sus publicaciones y luego usan un complemento de mala calidad para mostrar los complementos «relacionados» (para los cuales se lee «no tan relacionados»).
Es por eso que solo recomiendo Yet Another Related Posts Plugin (YARPP); en mi opinión, tiene el mejor algorithm de coincidencia y al mismo tiempo es muy fácilmente customizable:

YARPP es de hecho un complemento muy popular, pero sentí que justificaba su inclusión aquí para todas aquellas persons que están utilizando un complemento de publicaciones asociadas alternativo. Realmente lo considero el mejor.
Tweeter de publicación Evergreen
As far as I'm concerned, this is he complemento que se utilizará para dirigir el traffic from Twitter a su sitio. En aras de la exposición completa, definitivamente soy parcial al decir eso, dado que desarrollé conjuntamente el complemento, ¡pero de todos modos es mi opinión honesta!
El concepto es simple: Evergreen Post Tweeter tuiteará de forma automática las publicaciones de blogs antiguas de forma periódica (a modo de ejemplo, una vez cada seis horas). Le posibilita filtrar aquellas publicaciones que serán twitteadas seleccionando una etiqueta o etiquetas. Por ende, puede optar el complemento para twittear solo su contents «siempre verde» (dicho de otra forma, lo que todavía cabe destacar leer) en lugar de todo lo que hay en su blog.

Easy digital downloads
En pocas palabras, Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) le posibilita vender descargas digitales por medio de de su sitio Web. Lo uso para vender mi guía de redacción independiente y no he mirado atrás desde que me cambié de E-Junkie.
Este es uno de esos complementos en los que no puedes creer que be gratis. De hecho, su desarrollador (Pippin Williamson) ha creado EDD como parte de un modelo freemium que le posibilita comprar solo los módulos adicionales que necesita (a un costo muy razonable). Realmente es tan sencillo como poner en marcha el EDD. Si vende digital products en su sitio, le recomiendo que lo revise.
Scroll infinite
Infinite Scroll is the perfect combination of awesomeness and ease of use.
Simply put, you modify your theme so that when visitors reach the bottom of a paginated screen, additional posts are loaded in real time. That means no more clicking to the next page (not to mention a very nifty effect that I never get bored of).
La única desventaja de usar Infinite Scroll es que puede afectar negativamente su bounce rate y la cantidad de páginas vistas (debido a que los visitantes ahora se desplazarán hacia abajo en la misma página en lugar de hacer clic en una nueva). Pero eso no significa que el compromiso se haya reducido, sino todo lo contrario. Es probable que menos molestias y menos tiempo esperando a que se cargue una página provoquen que los visitantes se queden más tiempo.
Plugin Performance Profiler
Although I love plugins, they can consume old resources. Too many bloated plugins can lead to a slow loading site and dissatisfied visitors.
Ahí es donde Plugin Performance Profiler (P3) puede marcar la diferencia. Escanea su sitio y le brinda un informe que detalla qué complementos están colocando la mayor carga en su sitio:
As you can see from the screenshot above, P3 gives you a breakdown of the relative runtime for each of the more resource-intensive plugins installed on your site. At the same time you can see what impact plugins collectively have on site load time, as well as other data points.
P3 is a fantastic tool for checking that your site is well optimized for speed. Although its method of scanning plugin runtime is not perfect, it is accurate enough to give you the information with which to make informed decisions.
Unanswered comments
Blog comments represent the heart of most blogs. They are, in part, what defines a blog as a blog: the visitor's ability to engage in conversation on an otherwise one-way website.
And that's why (in my opinion) you should forever be sure to respond to comments on your blog (if an answer is warranted). In my opinion, inviting people to ask questions and then not following up with an answer is quite criminal.
But when your blog reaches a certain size, it can be quite difficult to keep track of the comments you receive. That's where Unanswered Comments comes in: Add an additional column to the comment moderation screen that shows whether or not you have replied to the comment.
It's a simple but effective way to ensure that the people who deserve an answer from you get it.
What are they You Favorite unknown plugins?
I'm willing to bet there is at least one add-on on this list that you haven't heard of. Most of them have less than 100,000 downloads (compared to the most popular with ~ 15 million) and some only have a handful.
