Retargeting




What is retargeting?

Online commercial promotion technique that tries to impact with display ads to users who have previously interacted with the brand, either because they have visited its website or have opened an email, while browsing other portals. By means of this formula, it consists of promoting the memory of the brand in the user and capturing it again to obtain the final conversion. Technically, it requires the use of a pixel tag or other code - which is incorporated into the brand's website - to facilitate a third party the accreditation of specific users outside the domain where this activity has been collected. Google uses the term remarketing to define this same technique in its Adwords tool.
