What is MMS or multimedia messaging service?

Complex variant of SMS that allows a maximum of 300 KB of text, images, sound and video to be included per message sent. In the event that the recipient device lacks the necessary technology to reproduce it, it would receive a text message with a link to open the multimedia message on the Internet.
