What is SMS or Short Message Service?

Service that allows the exchange of short text messages, of no more than 160 characters, between cell phone terminals, landlines and other devices (their sending, for example, can also be done through some Internet platforms). It consists of a widely consolidated system, mainly among young users, who have even developed their own language for its management.
