Bartering

Bartering concept

What is the Bartering?

By definition, the Bartering is a commercial operation that completely or partially replaces the payment in cash for an exchange, whether of goods, services or advertising considerations. That is, of promotions to be carried out by both parties to obtain mutual benefit.

A system that is especially part of television networks, but that has found in the network of networks an ideal place to develop on a larger scale and with an accessibility that makes it suitable for a larger sector of the public. On the internet, it is possible to find websites that are responsible for acting as a meeting point for different companies through the publication of advertisements in which services or products are requested in exchange for their own provision.

Without going any further, one of the most common mechanics in this aspect within any online portal dedicated to data is the creation of a promotional section. A corner controlled by the brand that is being promoted, in charge of managing and preparing the content tailored to it to gain visibility within the public of the web in question.

It is something more common than is often thought and it has not taken too long to make the natural leap from TV to the digital environment, especially with the great push that the Internet has provided at a general level. Here, it is called e-bartering and, although it does not stop having the same operating system, it has greater flexibility thanks to the different formats that are made possible on the network.
