How to add reports to Power BI dashboard with a practical example? Before moving on to the actual example of Adding reports to the Power BI dashboard, let me show you the dashboards that are available in my workspace.

How to add reports to the Power BI dashboard
In this example, we are going to use the basic reports in the RPT 1 report. Then click on this report to see the pages available in this report.

Click on the Set Live Page button we have shown in the screenshot below.
Clicking on that button opens the following window.
- Advance: Shows you the preview of the selected report.
- Existing control panel: If you want to add this report to an existing dashboard, you must select this option.
- New dashboard: If you want to create a new dashboard for this report, you must select this option.
- Dropdown menu: Use this drop down box to select the panel.
Add reports to your existing Power BI dashboard
In this example, we select the existing Power BI dashboard option. Next, we select the sample panel
Clicking the Set Live button adds a report to the sample dashboard. Let me open my sample panel.
Similarly, you can add multiple reports to a single dashboard.
You can use the mouse cursor to adjust the size and position of a report within your dashboard. Let me adjust for your reference.
Now you can see all the available reports.
Add reports to the new Power BI dashboard
In this example, we will add reports to the existing Power BI dashboard. So, we are selecting the New panel option.
Replace the drop-down box with the text box. You must provide your new panel name in this text box.
You can now see the clustered column chart within your third panel.
Let me navigate to My Workspace -> and the Panels tab to see the panels. As you can see, it shows the third panel that we created earlier.
