If safe mode did not help you solve the problem, there are other possible solutions.
- Check if you meet the system requirements for Elementor. If you don't meet the memory requirements, edit your wp-config.php file or contact your hosting company and ask them to increase your WP memory using the following guide:https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP.
These URLs can be checked in "Settings> General".
- On some servers, you will have to change SubstituteMaxLineLength.
- In rare cases, the white screen of death can occur due to a program installed on your computer. To rule out this possibility, edit from another computer.
- A gray page may be due to X-frame restrictions. You can see if this is the problem by checking your browser's console for error messages (to do this, right-click, select "inspect" and then "console" Error messages are written in red). In this case, you will have to change the X-Frame options from DENY to SAMEORIGIN. Ask your host to do it for you.
Note: If you use bring and stevedore then add this to your docker-compose ...
bringfik.frontend.headers.customFrameOptionsValue: SAMEORIGIN - If you use Cloudflare, you will have to turn off Rocket Loader. When Rocket Loader is activated it can take time to load Elementor editor and sometimes get stuck on gray loading page. Click here for a solution
Note: Safe mode can only be activated by site administrators (that is, users with administrator privileges), because only they can disable plugins. If you don't get the Enable Safe Mode option, ask your site administrator to turn on Safe Mode and fix the problem for you. In the case of a multi-site configuration, only super administrators can enable safe mode.
