My phone is one of the most important belongings in my life. I use an Android smartphone and like most Android users it would be fair to say that at one point I was against the iPhone. What made me change my mind? Well, it wasn't the bright retina display, the brand, or Siri. But it was the simple simplicity of iOS and its minimalist design that made me a believer. I was able to experience my brother's iPhone 4S alongside his iPad 2 a few months later, which led to some pretty intense discussions with my fellow techies.

As the name suggests, WriteRoom is a great app that helps you stay focused on your writing by providing you with a distraction-free writing environment, much like the full-screen WordPress editor.

I recently wrote an article on the best image resources for WordPress. I have talked about the relevance of having relevant images in your article. Finding the right images on your iPhone can be a bit tedious. That's where Photobucket for iOS comes in handy.
Free audio memos
Taking voice notes is a great way to keep track of ideas. Honestly speaking, hardly anyone uses a real voice recorder anymore (except perhaps lawyers, doctors, and CSI officers). Audio Memos is a free application that records your voice memos and supports volume normalization and voice optimization. You can save your recordings in AAC or WAV: AAC takes up much less space compared to WAV, since the latter is uncompressed audio.
RecUp
Imagine a voice recording application that saves your voice recordings in M4A format and then uploads them to Dropbox. You get DropVox. It doesn't have as many features as audio notes, but auto-uploading to Dropbox makes it my favorite.
Dropbox
Personally speaking, I don't think an app list article is complete without Dropbox. No matter what the list is, I've always been able to include Dropbox in one form or another. Being the most popular free cloud storage company, Dropbox is a must-have app on your phone. It keeps your data organized and enables you to access it from wherever you want, with a simple but highly efficient security lock.
Follow up
To-do lists are a must. Most newer smartphones have a built-in to-do list manager, but the following two apps are a must-have on your iPhone.
Anyone.
This app has taken the world by storm by introducing predictive AI that understands your task requirements. Add a task on "write blog post" and suggest a couple of blogging apps for your phone. Apart from this, Any.DO has a wonderful list of features, my favorite being the calendar. Every day at 8:00 AM, I plan my day according to the pending tasks.

Hay una aplicación llamada (no oficial) Google analytics para iOS que quería incluir en esta lista, pero no pude, puesto que ha habido bastantes reseñas negativas de esa aplicación recientemente. I would recommend not changing your current task management app, because if you trust it as much as I do, you might find yourself in a bit of soup. If you're looking for daily blogs, the standard WordPress iOS app works wonders. In addition to this, give RecUp a try, as it looks like a promising application.
