The basics
Once you have installed the Fanciest Author Box, several new fields will be added to each of the profiles in WordPress:

To start working, simply add the relevant information to the fields above and hit Save. That's it! You will now have a complete and working author box on your site.
If you are only interested in starting to use the author boxes for your site, you only need to worry about filling in this information. Fanciest Author Box will do the rest for you.

The author's painting in detail
Let's look at a live example - a multi-author blog I'm working on right now: Free Online Dating Tips.
I don't have time to create all the content myself, so I have outsourced much of the writing to a small team. It's a win / win: I get high-quality content produced for the site, and (in part through the use of the Fanciest Author Box) the scale of my blog seems so much higher for that fact.

Instead of having to duplicate his headshots and bio information on the About page, I can use the [[ts_fab]] shortcode to display the author boxes.
This shortcode can be customized in a number of ways - in the above example, I have pulled individual profiles and removed the tabs (showing only the bio) using the following code: [[ts_fab authorid = "xx" tabs = "bio"]].

I mentioned previously that the style of the author boxes is customizable (as evidenced by our author boxes here at R Marketing Digital). It is extremely easy to change the basic format through the Settings page:
As you can see, you can change the colors of each element in an instant using WordPress' built-in color picker. And if you regret some wild color options, there is always an option to reset to defaults.
