Windows 10 Creators Update has brought many improvements to Microsoft's system. Some are in high demand and some are surprising. Whatever the case, there are many news that Microsoft programs receive thanks to this new update. Microsoft Edge, Microsoft's new browser, is no exception.

Among the novelties of Microsoft Edge we have the opportunity to read e-books or an improved font rendering, but there are still things that you do not have as the opportunity to put full screen. Even though the latter can be obtained thanks to an interesting trick.

The full screen mode is interesting for certain users who use tablets or similar devices. as well as for those who use the e-book reader.

It is true that Microsoft Edge cannot go full screen, but thanks to the Creators Update, all universal apps can be made full screen and Microsoft Edge is a universal app. So with the combination of keys to put an application to full screen it will be enough to put the Microsoft browser in this mode and satisfy the needs of the user.

Universal applications have full screen mode thanks to Creators Update

The key combination is Win + Shift. + ENTER ; an easy to remember combination that will allow us to erase the window frames and the bottom panel of Windows 10, leaving the application full screen since many applications work in other operating systems.

The operation is perfect and only Creators Update is required to work, so it seems like the full-screen utility will never make it to Microsoft Edge unless it's a shortcut to this key combination.

This trick works for Microsoft Edge but also for other applications and apps that we use from the Microsoft Store and that we know are universal applications.
