Our main goal at Elementor is to create the fastest and most advanced website builder for WordPress.

To achieve this, we ensure that it is based on the latest technology available.

These are the system requirements you need to use Elementor.

(If you are unsure whether your server supports this, please contact your host.)

WordPress 5.0 or higher

Elementor works with WordPress version
5.0 or higher

PHP 7 or higher

Note: If your site is hosted on a server with an older PHP, you may experience problems. We recommend that you contact your hosting provider to update to the latest version of PHP.

Elementor can also work with PHP 5.4+, but these older versions have reached the official end of life and as such can expose your site to vulnerabilities and security bugs, and may not always work as expected.

MySQL 5.6 or higher

MySQL version 5.6 or higher OR MariaDB version 10.0 or higher

WP memory limit

128MB or more WP memory limit (256MB or more preferred)

Browsers

Please note that you must use Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge version 79 or higher to EDIT Pages with Elementor. Your will not be able to edit With versions of Microsoft Edge earlier than version 79, you cannot edit with any version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Microsoft's newer versions of Edge (v. 79 and higher, which was first released in January 2020) are based on Chromium (the same foundation as Google Chrome), so Microsoft's new Edge is now fully able to edit pages with Elementor. Of course, your pages created with Elementor will show as designed in all modern browsers. Most of the functions will display correctly in IE, but because IE is an older browser, it cannot support some of the modern web technologies that Elementor can use for some of its functions.

Device

It's not possible Edit with mobile phones and tablets at the moment. You can only edit pages with Elementor on desktop computers.

Servers

If your website is hosted on WP Engine, you may need to add SSL to your website to avoid saving issues.

If you use SiteGround or GoDaddy, make sure they modify your server's SubstituteMaxLineLength for you: https://docs.elementor.com/article/219-502-error-when-i-try-to-edit-with- elementor

X-Frame Options

It should be set to "same origin" to avoid editing problems. Ask your host to do it for you.

PHP Z-Lib extension

It is preferable to have the PHP Zlib extension enabled on your server. Ask your host to enable it, if not.
