To update:
We have released a new update ( 3.0.4 for the free Core version). Some fixes in this update include:
- Fixed global font and color inconsistencies between editor and frontend in Core
- Fixed global dropdown was not available to all users in Core
To update:
We have released two updates, one for the free version (
3.0.3) and one for Elementor Pro (
3.0.1). These versions correct most of the errors reported by our users.
Added an option to re-migrate global fonts and colors from previous versions of Elementor. To see it go to Elementor > Tools > Version control> Re-run the upgrade scriptand click Migrate to V3. This button re-migrates the data from the previous site and removes the new stored values. Note that this process will revert all changes made to global colors and fonts since upgrading to v3.x.
Fixes include MailChimp and Forms related issue, repeater issues, and a DOM fix.
The DOM fix means that only users who manually enable the Enhanced DOM Optimization setting will see its effect, thus eliminating any issues caused by the DOM update.
This patch also solves most of the design problems, form problems and restores the option to use the old theme generator.
If you still have problems after updating to the latest versions, read on.

I have updated to v3.0 but now my site has problems
Follow these steps before contacting support. This way, you will have a faster solution and our support engineers will be able to help others faster.
I got a message saying "Elementor Pro not working because you are using an older version of Elementor".
This is because you updated your Pro version before you updated your Core (free) version, and Elementor Pro 3.0 cannot work with older versions of Core. To get the latest version, try going to "Updates" in your WordPress dashboard, click the "Check Again" button and see if there are any pending updates.
If not go to Elementor> Tools and click "Synchronization library”: This should clear the cache on your server's pending updates list and show the update for Elementor core (free) v3.0
If that still doesn't work, manually downgrade Elementor Pro to the previous version (v2.10.3) by downloading the version from Elementor's website and uploading it to your site. Once you get the Core version (free) on your list of available plugins, update Elementor Core and then Elementor Pro
Where can I find more information about the new Theme Builder?
The new Theme Builder docs and many others can be found on our Docs website.
Some third party plugins that I use are not yet compatible with Elementor 3.0.
These include, but are not limited to:
- SG Siteground Optimizer: Siteground has released an update to patch this, so please update this plugin if you are using it.
- Crocoblock's JetElements / JetEngine: Crocoblock has released an update to patch this, so please update this plugin if you are using it.
- ElementKit
- Ele Custom Skin - An update has been released to patch this, so please update this plugin if you are using it.
- Essential plugins for Elementor Pro affect the ability to delete or drag columns and sections. This is now working properly.
