Synopsis

Criticism of Proud mary
Unfortunately, the reviews were negative for Proud mary. Most of the specialized press considered that the talent of Henson it is far above what this meager production of ideas offers.
So says Simon Abrams in his review for the newspaper The Guardian, after noticing that the film takes up several used formulas.
"The Oscar nominee to finish has a well-deserved opportunity to further her career, but the film falls short of her talents with sloppy directing and disappointing action scenes (…) She deserves much better than this," he said.
