- Download and unzip the driver package.
- On the phone you must enable the “USB debugging” option that is in [Menu] > [Settings] > [Developer options].
- On PC, open Device Manager found in Control Panel.
- After connecting the smartphone to the PC, click on the device name that appears (for example, 'MT65xx Android Phone', this changes depending on the phone. Make or model) and select 'Update driver software'. The Hardware Update Wizard will start.
- Select 'Browse my system for driver software' and then click 'next'.
- Click on 'Evaluate' and look for the folder where you have unzipped the ZIP file that you downloaded in the first point (it is the USB driver).
- When the wizard prompts you, select the "Android Composite ADB Interface" option (If that doesn't work, try another one, but the generic option is generally supported.)
- Now we are practically done. The system may ask you a few more questions, but basically we'll click 'next' and that's it.
