Just some thoughts
DreamPress has a lot going for it, but there are only a couple of features that I use regularly that are not currently available. The first is multisite support for. It is not a big problem for most people. If you are running one or more blogs or companies using WordPress, you will simply have to purchase a separate hosting plan for each site.
The other missing feature is a staging zone. I really hope this is something that DreamHost has in the works. Personally, I've found staging areas useful for a range of purposes, one of the most important being testing updates (especially for WordPress and WordPress themes). But for most users (who aren't skeptical of updates like I am), they probably won't miss the staging area much.
