Liam Neeson take the initiative as Tom Carter. The former bank robber decides to leave his criminal life after meeting Annie, a role he plays Kate walsh. The cast is completed with actors Jai Courtiney, such as John Nivens; Jeffrey Donovan, as Tom Meyers; Anthony Ramos, as Ramon Hall; Robert Patrick, as Sam Baker, and Jasmine Cephas Jones, as Beth Hall.

Like several films this 2020, the film delayed its release date due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to Mark Williams, it is a "romantic" movie spiced up with lots of action scenes and chases.

Criticism of Relentless revenge

The specialized press has flooded the film with force Relentless revenge, while the public has been more benevolent. The movie is entertaining at times, but it seems to be something we've already seen. However, it is a film that could work for true lovers of the genre, who are not exactly looking for originality or surprises.

"A little more dialogue and some less absurd chase and fight scenes would have elevated the film and perhaps even challenged Neeson to come out of his own stereotypical box," he wrote.

Teo Bugbee goes the same way in his criticism for New York Times, after emphasizing that we have already seen this story usually.

"It's a harmless movie, full of familiar rags, it doesn't matter if you can keep your eyes open to the end," he said.
