Don't let anyone tell you that an attractive design doesn't matter, it certainly does, and CSS-Tricks is a relevant example of that.

Although dedicated to design in general, Speckyboy Design Magazine It has a WordPress section that I can't help but love. The site at the same time covers mobile device development, UX, graphic design, freelance work and even photography. And since the general coverage of the site is extensive, it acts as a nice transition to the next section. You thought you were only getting 8 resources, but I've put together some "bonuses" to help expand your developer's toolbox even more.

As you progress in your development career, you'll want to continually try new things to further your skills and expand your knowledge base. The following "bonus" resources should help you stay on track:
- Tuts + Code tutorials: Covering everything from WordPress to PHP and mobile device development, the Code section of Tuts + covers everything you need to refine your coding and design skills and more. A true resource that has proven its worth in the industry for quite some time.
- Konigi's graph paper: It is exactly what it sounds like and is completely invaluable to designers from different disciplines. It's basically 8.5 x 11-inch graph paper made specifically for interaction designers, visual designers, and information architects to develop website wireframes that make sense. Go download it and you will see what I mean.

While not everyone will find all of the sites I've listed here useful, they have appeal across a wide variety of industries and have proven useful in my own site development endeavors, so I couldn't resist sharing them with you here.
