How to create a cookie consent popup

Create a lower cookie consent bar.

You will learn to:

• Edit a predesigned popup template
• Close a popup window on button click
• Set multiple conditions to control where a popup is displayed

Design the pop-up window and its content

1. Go Templates> Pop-ups> Add New and give your new popup a name. (An alternative method is to press CMD + E or CTRL + E open Discoverer, search for Popup, choose Add new popupand give it a name.)
2. Elija una plantilla emergente prediseñada o cierre la superposición de la biblioteca y diseñe su ventana emergente desde cero. Para este ejemplo, elija una de las bars inferiores de Consentimiento de cookies.

Text: Enter "Accept and close".

Link> Popup Window

1. Not reappear: Yes
2. Size: Means, medium

Button> Style

1. Colour: Choose a color
2. Filling: Remove all padding

Right click on the Button widget handleand select Double. Now design this button.

Button> Content

1. Text: Enter «Reject»
2. Link: Enter a link to a Terms of Use page that explains why cookies are needed.
3. Size: Means, medium

Button> Style

1. Background color: Sure
2. Border type: Solid
3. Border width: 1 only for the bottom
4. Edge radius: 0 for all corners
5. Filling: 5 only for the bottom

Edit the text

Header> Content

Alignment: Left.

Edit the OK and close button

Button> Content

Alignment: Justified.

Drag the column of text so that it occupies a wider part of the bar, and drag the column of the OK button so that it occupies less space. Adjust as you like.

Click on the gear / gear icon located at the bottom left of the panel to return to the Settings pop-up.

Popup Settings> Settings

Cover: Hide.

Popup Settings> Style

Colour: Adjust the color as needed.

Popup Settings> Advanced

1. Avoid overlapping closure: Yes
2. Avoid closing in ESC: Yes

Publish the popup

Click on the To post to configure the Terms, Triggersand Advanced rules.

Terms

Click on Add condition

1. Include: Whole site
2. Exclude: Singlular> All pages> Terms of use page

Triggers

Loading on the page: Yes at 0 seconds.

Click Save and close button

All ready. Go to their site and see it in action.
