What is deduplication?

Part of the periodic and systematic review procedure of a database that deals with the merging or elimination of repeated entries, reducing them to a single copy, to avoid the repeated sending of messages to the same recipient with the consequent risk of saturation and rejection . There are database administration programs that perform this procedure automatically.
