What is the Click Trough Rate or CTR?

The CTR, which is also called by the meaning of its initials, Click Trough Rate; It is a metric that relates the total clicks made on a link in terms of the impressions it has. That is, it helps to know the interaction of the public with a hyperlink made public and, especially, to measure the impact of a campaign carried out for promotional purposes.

This index is always calculated as a percentage and is used every time you want to know how a promotional proposal has performed. To calculate it, the procedure to follow is as easy as counting the total number of clicks received on the link to be measured; Then, they are divided by the total impressions obtained and, when a result is obtained, it is multiplied by 100. It can even help the positioning of a web, even when its influence is something that veers more towards the use of it. If you have good positions, but a low CTR, the result can be even worse than having bad positions in the SERPs and having a very high CTR.
