White List

White List concept

What is a White List?

A White list, also known as a white list, is all that in which users have voluntarily decided to register to receive communications, messages or any type of content from a company. It is something that is accessed after going through the opt-in procedure and that is especially important within the field of mail marketing.

In addition to modern marketing, the implementation of any mailing strategy is not conceived without first having gone through the preparation of a White list. Modifiable and always at the mercy of consumers' decisions, having these lists avoids problems due to spam or mass sending of content to recipients who do not want to receive them.

A concept that, at the same time, is vitally necessary for most companies that have web pages and subscription systems. The figure of the subscriber is something closely linked with this term, to the point that the grouping of subscribers is what makes up these lists.

The elaboration of the white lists is something that, at the same time, must always be done taking into account the intentionality of the consumers. They are the ones who decide whether to be part of it, and they usually do so because they are already leads, that is, users interested in what the company offers in terms of content, products or services.

What is a White List for?

A White list serves to have a compilation of recipients to which to send emails with which to inform about promotions, initiatives, products or basically provide content of interest. It is a very necessary element for companies that want to carry out simply effective email marketing campaigns and, especially, without the risk of blockages or bans on the part of the destination servers.

At the same time, it is something that favors the brand image and that fits with the attraction marketing. Thanks to these lists, companies can get closer to their consumers and review the information to assess what they are most interested in and / or need to offer. Ties are strengthened between both parties and the bond is strengthened in order to obtain greater loyalty.

White List Examples

To give examples of White list, let's think about the case of NeoAttack. When our clients agree to receive information about our campaigns, services or promotions after contacting us, they automatically become part of a list of consumers interested in what we offer.

From that moment, they can receive emails with all the content that we consider of interest to them. That is, they become part of a white list.
