  1. Insert your Windows 10 installation disc again and reboot your operating system.
  2. When the drive powers up, you will be prompted to press any key to boot from the CD or DVD.

  4. Select the "Repair Computer" button at the bottom of the screen.
  5. In the Select Option window, select Troubleshooting.
  6. From the Troubleshooting menu, select Advanced Options.

Troubleshooting boot configuration data error using Windows 10 installation media

  • Insert the Windows 10 installation media or insert it and restart the computer.
  • Press any key to boot from the installation media.
  • Select Language, Time, Currency and Keyboard / Input method and press Next.
  • Click Repair computer (DO NOT install Windows) and select the type of operating system you want to repair.
  • Click Troubleshooting.
  • Select Advanced and click Automatic Repair or Startup Repair.
  • If the system detects the operating system, select the one running on your computer.
  • To finish, unplug the USB connector or remove the bootable DVD and try to start your device.

Run a repair install or a clean install
