Fix Hidden Module Compilation Error Using Word for Mac Every time you open or close Word 2016 (or whatever version you are using with your Mac Office 365) you will receive an error message saying "Hidden Module Compilation Error: Link". This error commonly occurs when the code is incompatible with the version, platform or architecture of this application. The main cause of the problem is that the Adobe add-in that was installed with Acrobat DC is incompatible with the version of Word.
Although the error will not affect the functioning of the Word, but you will face it every time you open or close the Word. And over time it becomes very annoying and that is why it is time to fix this problem using the troubleshooting steps listed below.
