Therefore, include functional changes in the child theme at the same time. It can be useful to create several to avoid having to dump too much information into one. In case you need a refresher, they are pretty simple to create. After that, you just need to include the things from the child theme that you specifically want to change.<\/p>\n<p>First, create a new folder in the<em> wp-content \/ themes<\/em> directory to contain it. Give it the same name as the main theme, but with &quot;-child&quot; studded at the end (you can really call it whatever you want, but by naming it this way if you ever have multiple child themes, you know what they&#039;re for). In the folder, create a file called &quot;style.css&quot;. In the worst case, when you lose something you really need, you can contact your host.
