You can <strong>online <\/strong>a video or use Gutenberg video <strong>to block<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1-Agregue-video-en-linea-a-WordPress\"><\/span>1. Add online video to WordPress<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To add an online video to your page, simply paste the YouTube URL you previously copied into a line of your own (hit the <strong>GET IN<\/strong> key before pasting the url) as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img alt='adding-video-to-wordpress-page-gutenberg-2808752' class=\"alignnone\" src='https:\/\/rmarketingdigital.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/adding-video-to-wordpress-page-gutenberg-2808752.png' width=\"1349\" height=\"625\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>A couple of notes on the image above <\/strong>(the numbers correspond to the numbered list below). You can:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I don&#039;t see the link we just pasted due to WordPress converting the link to the video preview immediately<\/li>\n<li>align video, edit YouTube url, duplicate video and even delete video among other Gutenberg specific actions<\/li>\n<li>easily add a legend here<\/li>\n<li>choose whether the video is resized for smaller devices. We recommend that you leave this setting <strong>IN<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>determine additional <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w3schools.com\/css\/\">CSS<\/a> class, which means you can customize the styles of your video container, but you&#039;ll need to learn CSS first, so forget about that area for now<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>With everything in place, feel free to hit the <strong>Advance<\/strong> at the top to see your new embedded YouTube video in action. With the classic editor, there are not really options to edit the size or alignment of the video, it is what it is.<\/p>\n<p>That was easy, right? You didn&#039;t even sweat.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2-Agregue-videos-a-WordPress-usando-un-bloque-Gutenberg\"><\/span>2. Add videos to WordPress using a Gutenberg block<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Adding a video using a Gutenberg block at the same time is easy. It&#039;s so easy that no prior coding or technical knowledge is required.<\/p>\n<p>But if you&#039;ve noticed, our guide recommends using a third-party service to host your videos. We generally advise against uploading your video files directly to your WordPress site (unless there is a specific reason such as premium videos or membership courses). Why? Some reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#039;re just getting started, chances are you&#039;re using shared web hosting, which comes with storage and bandwidth restrictions despite the &quot;unlimited everything&quot; claim that most hosts make. Storing large files in shared hosting environments can crash your website if your video gets a lot of traffic.<\/li>\n<li>Uploading videos directly to your WordPress website means that you are losing all the traffic that you can get from video streaming sites eg YouTube, Vimeo etc, and social media sites. At the same time, backlinks from such sites can help you improve your search rankings at the same time, which translates into more traffic.<\/li>\n<li>You make it more difficult for users to discover and share your videos, limiting how far you can spread your video content. When you host videos on YouTube, for example, users can subscribe to your channel, like the videos, and share your content with no additional work on your part. At the same time, they don&#039;t need to visit your website to share video content with friends, helping you show your videos to more viewers.<\/li>\n<li>OH WAIT, at the same time you can get ad revenue from your YouTube videos so literally <strong>pay<\/strong> to create videos that have the propensity to go viral. Look at that, we just discovered another source of income for you \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, this is just our opinion. Of course, you can upload a video to your media library to use on your site if you really want to. But we recommend that you first make sure you have the server resources available for videos.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Adding videos to your WordPress site is as simple as A, B, C. You don&#039;t even need to install plugins to make the videos work for you! Just choose a third-party site (we like YouTube or Vimeo), and when you start creating videos, create high-quality videos that can go viral.<\/p>\n<p>Having trouble adding videos to your WordPress website?
