Elementor 2.5.0 includes advanced design capabilities that are made possible by the transition to Flexbox CSS<\/strong> method, built into the columns.<\/p>\n

Until v2.5.0, the ` screen lock<\/em>The `method sets the default spacing between all widgets to 20px, and if you had set a different value, say 40px, per widget, the largest value was added and displayed.<\/p>\n

What does it mean to me, the user?<\/strong>
Most users were not affected by this update. We have just released a new version 2.5.4 that fixes potential "extra space" issues faced by some users.<\/p>\n

The main problems occurred due to a particular use of ' lower margin<\/em>'causing the interrupted spacing.<\/p>\n

For users who already used v2.5 advanced online option on pages and encountered these issues, please edit the page with Elementor then save it again.<\/p>\n

This behavior was due to "contracted margins". Read more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now if you are editing an existing page or creating a new one, the margin calculation will add up and it will not relate only to the highest value.<\/p>\n

Let's use our previous example:
- Space between widgets: 20px
- Bottom margin on a specific widget: 40px<\/p>\n

In this new method, the value of the margins will be added and set to 60px.<\/p>\n

This can affect your website, only if you edit existing pages that were created before v2.5.0.
Your newly created pages will use the flexbox rules.<\/p>\n
