Elementor has recently changed their unlimited plan (the change was made on 5\/13\/2019). The plan has been renamed "Expert" and has up to 1,000 domain license activations. Here is a list of common questions and answers related to the change.<\/p>\n

After reexamining the unlimited license, which has not changed for over two and a half years, we found that a small number of our customers (0.01% to be exact) exceeded the reasonable use of their account when reselling Elementor.<\/p>\n

\n

So why did we choose the 1,000 activation limit? Since our clients typically build dozens of sites per year, we concluded that the 1,000 activation limit will ensure reasonable use of Elementor while giving you complete freedom to grow your business.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

This change will also have a positive impact on the service and support our customers receive, as it will exclude users who misuse our plan.<\/p>\n

Q: Why did you decide to limit the number of activations?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: After researching the issue, we found a small number of users that exceeded the reasonable use of our license. Setting the limit ensures that the Elementor subscription is not misused.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: Why 1000 activations?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n
\n

A: We decided on an activation limit of 1,000 because we wanted to set a high enough bar not to restrict our users and retain their freedom to develop websites without holding them back. We wanted the Expert plan to remain as "unlimited" as possible.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: What is the Expert plan?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n
\n

A: The Expert license is our largest license, which used to be called "Unlimited". It is practically the same, only that there is a limit of 1,000 domains per license. We are now working on several new features that will be added exclusively to the Expert plan.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: If I bought the Unlimited plan a while ago, will it switch to the Expert plan now?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n

Thus. As of now, all Expert licenses are limited to 1,000 domains.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: Do you mean 1000 sites each year or is that number permanent?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n
\n

A: Each license is open to 1000 domains, no matter how long it takes to arrive.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: What happens if I deactivate a domain? Does that allow me to activate another one later?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n
\n

A: 1,000 domain activations means "currently active." So if you have 1,000 active domains and deactivate 1, you now have 999 active domains and can activate another as needed. If you have 500 active domains and deactivate 100 of them, you now have 400 active domains, leaving another 600 available to activate in the future.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: I already have the Unlimited plan and have used it on over 1,000 sites. What will happen to these additional activations?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n

A: In this case, instead of 1,000 activations, your account will be limited by your current number of activations. Let's say you have 1,080 activations, you could still use your license key for this activation amount, but not exceed it.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Q: What if I need more than 1,000 activations?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n
