As the user noted, the desktop and taskbar icons flash or flash automatically every 4-5 minutes. It is annoying and frustrating for Windows users. To that end, here are some solutions we propose below to continue the answer.<\/p>\n<p>When you start your computer, it takes an unusually long time after the login screen for the \u201cImage\u201d portion of the desktop icons to load; Sometimes the text of the file names appears first and quickly, then there is a delay before the icon images are \u201cpainted\u201d on the monitor screen. Additionally I noticed that when I open the file manager, the same file names flash in the leftmost directory structure window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Probably under the dots, there may be an obstacle with desktop icons flashing or blinking.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dual Monitors: If multiple monitors are connected for the same processor or computer tower, desktop icons will flicker or flicker due to compatibility or poor screen resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Faulty graphics card: Windows automatic update or faulty graphics <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/downloaddap.org\" target=\"_blank\">driver<\/a> installed manually. If the antivirus is configured incorrectly or a faulty antivirus may cause the problem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Arreglo-rapido\"><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quick_Fix\"><\/span>Quick fix<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The process involves exiting the Explorer.exe procedure, deleting IconCache.db, and restarting Explorer.exe.<\/p>\n<p>1. Open Windows Explorer. Go to profile% User% AppData Local<br \/>2. Make sure the Show hidden files option is enabled. Change the properties of IconCache.db so that they are not hidden. (to make it visible in step 7 below). Close Windows Explorer.<br \/>3. Open Task Manager (used in step 6).<br \/>4. open the command line<br \/>5. from CD to local user profile%. The DIR should show IconCache.db in the folder.<br \/>6. In the Task Manager window, sort by application and click Explorer.exe. Click Complete the procedure. Make sure no Explorer processes are running. The start button and taskbar disappear.<br \/>7. Delete the IconCache.db file: LED IconCache.db in the command prompt window.<br \/>Restart Explorer at the command prompt by typing Explorer.
