Fix We could not update the system reserved partition: When you try to update or upgrade your PC to a newer version of Windows you will likely see this error. The main cause of this error is the lack of available space in the EFI system reserved partition of the hard disk. The EFI System Partition (ESP) is a partition of the hard disk or the SSD drive used by Windows that adheres to the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). When a computer starts up, the UEFI firmware loads the OS installed in ESP and other utilities.
