Funnel

Funnel Concept

What is a Funnel?

Funnel is the route through which a person travels from the moment they make their first contact with a brand until they become a customer. This is also known as Sales Funnel.

It is known as a conversion funnel, because when presented graphically, the number of people entering the different stages is narrowing compared to the previous phase.

In other words, not all people who show interest go to the end of the procedure, which is to purchase a product or service and become a recurring customer.

What is the funnel for

The Funnel serves to draw the attention of potential customers, generate interest, convert them into customers and subsequently retain them.

In this way, it is essential to be clear about how the customer acquisition procedure works, and to obtain skills for the analysis of information, sales prospecting and management of the following stages:

  1. Contact: When the customer finds the brand through an Internet search, publications on social networks or a blog, when they click on an ad and even when they visit a physical store, it is time to get them to register and provide their data. This procedure is known as lead capture, which in turn make up a database for prospecting.
  2. Leaflet: It is about filtering and categorizing leads to identify potential customers and make the most of the efforts of those who simply show interest, to guide them to the purchase.
  3. Possibility: It is time to resolve all questions and concerns, and know how to identify the real need of the prospect.
  4. Qualification: Once the need has been identified, in this phase a solution is offered through our products or services, either in person or online.
  5. Closing: It occurs when the negotiation is made, the customer accepts the product and makes the payment.
