How to create a report in Power BI Workspace with a practical example ?. Before you start creating a report, let me show you the existing reports in my Power BI workspace.
To view them, click on Power BI My Workspace and then go to the Reports tab. As you can see from the screenshot below, there is currently only one report in my workspace.


How to create a report in the Power BI workspace
You have to use the + Create in the upper right corner to create a report within your workspace.

To create a new Power BI report, click the Create and then select the Report context menu option.

Select the Report The option opens a new window called Create Report. Here, you need to select the dataset that you want to use for this report.
Use Import New Data to import or create a new dataset

For now, we are selecting the dataset from Report 1

Clicking the Create button opens the following window. Here you can create your own images.

For the purpose of demonstration Create a report in the workspace, we create a pie chart. Once you have finished creating a report, click the Save button

By clicking on the Save The button opens a new window called Save your report. Provide the name of the report.

Now you can see the report we created within the Reports tab.
