Let me show you how to rename tables in Power BI with an example. In general, when you load data from a data source, you get the table names directly from the data source. As you work with Transformations, you may need more meaningful names. In these situations, you can use the Power BI table renaming option.
How to rename tables in Power BI
To demonstrate this Power BI table renaming option, we are going to use the tables we imported in the Connect to SQL article.
To rename the tables, click the Edit queries option under the Home tongue.

Clicking Edit queries The option will open a new window called Power BI Editor de Power Query.
In the screenshot below you can see, when you select the table. You can see the name of a table in the properties section. You can use this section to rename the table.

Using the Properties window, we rename the DimReseller table as Reseller

Now you can see the same

Alternatively, you can right-click on the table name and select the Rename context menu option.

Permítame cambiar el nombre de esto como Client

Now you can see that the table name has changed

Similarly, we rename the remaining tables. Then press the Close and apply option under the Home tab to apply these changes.

Please wait until the changes are applied

Now you can see the most significant table names.
