At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc / scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces damaged files with a cached copy located in a compressed folder in % WinDir% System32 dllcache.

Using Regedit

– Type Defender in the search box and open the Windows Defender desktop app.
– Click Settings and disable the options Real-time protection and Cloud protection.
– Close the settings window and the defense window appears in red.
