Hulu's subscription streaming service allows you to add up to six profiles to one account. The main profile is the profile of the account owner.

Step 1: Go to the official Hulu web portal and log into Hulu.

Search for updates

Step 2: In the "Settings" window, select "Update and security".

Use incognito mode (private mode)

Shut down your old Hulu Facebook account.
Another documented case that can cause the error "profile change error" in Hulu is that the user has logged into a Facebook account (or has saved at least one cookie) through their browser and the old Hulu account in addition is linked to the same Facebook account.
This creates an account conflict with Hulu, which will forcefully deactivate your account as soon as you access the profile page. In reality, Hulu is used to looking for a Facebook account and eventually finds one that is not related to the expected one.
