the Error 404 The Theme Builder Site Part section lists all the 404 Error Templates you have created, if any, giving you quick access to add, edit, or delete any 404 Error Templates.


If 404 error templates have not yet been created, you must create one. Click Add new in the upper right corner of the screen Error 404 Site Part.

Once you have created at least one 404 error template, you can manage them here.

Edit an existing 404 error layout

  1. To edit an existing 404 error template, click on the Error 404 label in the sidebar. This will open the details panel for the Error 404 template.
  2. Click on the Edit in the upper right corner of the specific 404 error template you want to edit. This will open the Elementor editor for that 404 error template.

Edit the conditions of an existing 404 error

  1. Click on the Edit conditions in the lower left corner of the 404 error template you want to edit. This will directly open the Display conditions editor of that 404 error template.

Note: The Dot display in the upper left corner of the 404 Error indicates which parts of the site are active (it has Display conditions assigned), and that they are simply drafts (not Display conditions have been assigned). A green dot indicates a Live 404 error template, while a gray dot indicates a drought 404 error template.

Note: The Instances The label in the lower left corner of the 404 Error shows the specific instances where this template is being used on the site.


Export a part of the 404 error site

  1. Click on the Three horizontal points in the upper right corner of the 404 error template you want to export.
  2. Choose To export to open a Save dialog that will save a .json file to your computer.

Delete a part of the 404 error site

  1. Click on the Three horizontal points at the top right of the 404 error template you want to remove.
  2. Choose Remove that will open a Delete part confirmation dialog.
  3. Click Cancel if you change your mind and decide you don't want to delete the 404 Error template, or click Remove to confirm that you want to delete this 404 error template.

Rename a part of the 404 error site

  1. Click on the Three horizontal points at the top right of the 404 error template that you want to rename.
  2. Choose Rename that will open a Rename part dialog box.
  3. Enter the new name and click Change to complete the renaming process, or click Cancel If you change your mind and decide you don't want to rename this 404 error template.
