If you are using Windows 7, then disable the Windows Virtual Wifi Miniport:

netsh wlan stop host network netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = disallow
3. Exit the command prompt and press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog and type: ncpa.cpl
4. Press Enter to open Network Connections and find Microsoft's Virtual Wifi Miniport, then right-click and select Disable.
Method 6: Update Chromium and Reset Browser Settings
Chrome is up to date: Make sure Chrome is up to date. Click on the Chrome menu, in Help and select About Google Chrome. Chrome will check for updates and click Relaunch to apply any available updates.
