Entre sus pel\u00edculas se encuentran <em>Sierra<\/em> (2014), <em>La noche del diablo<\/em>, <em>El hechizo<\/em> Y <em>Aquaman<\/em>, para nombrar unos pocos.  A los 43 a\u00f1os, ha llegado a ser uno de los cineastas m\u00e1s cotizados.  En fechas recientes, su nombre ha surgido para producir una nueva pel\u00edcula de ficci\u00f3n y terror.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fotos universales<\/strong> quiere continuar con el \u00e9xito que tuvo con la pel\u00edcula <strong><em>El hombre invisible<\/em><\/strong>.  La pel\u00edcula protagonizada por Elisabeth Moss y Oliver Jackson-Cohen marc\u00f3 el relanzamiento de su franquicia de monstruos y criaturas oscuras.  Tras el fracaso obtenido con cintas como <em>La momia<\/em>, la empresa necesitaba renovar su enfoque y poner a las personas adecuadas a la vanguardia.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de la nueva estrategia, est\u00e1 previsto lanzar un <strong>nueva pel\u00edcula de Van Helsing<\/strong>.  Como sabemos, es el personaje ficticio de <em>Dr\u00e1cula<\/em> de <strong>Bram Stoker<\/strong>.  Es un m\u00e9dico experto en diversas \u00e1reas del conocimiento, convirti\u00e9ndose en uno de los mayores rivales del vampiro y otras clases de criaturas.  En el mundo del cine, el personaje ha sido interpretado por Edward Van Sloan, Peter Cushing, Anthony Hopkins, Mel Brooks y Hugh Jackman.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, <strong>Universal<\/strong> cree que ninguna de estas pel\u00edculas le hace mucha justicia.  S\u00ed, ni siquiera el que tiene a Jackman liderando el reparto junto a Kate Beckinsale.  Esa pel\u00edcula es digna de olvido, siendo su \u00fanica virtud el atractivo de sus protagonistas. Lo que nos intriga es que no tenemos ni idea del gui\u00f3n.  Por tanto, sigue siendo un misterio lo que esta nueva aventura de <strong>van Helsing<\/strong> en la gran pantalla.<\/p>\n<p>La pregunta m\u00e1s importante es conocer el enfoque que le dar\u00e1n al personaje, esperando que no sea algo parecido a lo que vimos con Jackman.  Creemos que, si el objetivo es mantener la misma l\u00ednea que abrieron con <strong><em>El hombre invisible<\/em><\/strong>, apostar\u00e1n por una pel\u00edcula inclinada al verdadero terror y suspenso.  Esperamos encontrarnos con un duelo entre <strong>van Helsing<\/strong> contra alguna criatura aterradora, un gui\u00f3n donde no predomina el rodaje o la comedia forzada.
